login taking time
1 check enough memory

login to domain
1 check dns pointed to server
2 check enabled gp/scripts enabled
3 check software installation/folder redirection enabled
note:shouldnot do these on a slow link
4 login from a remote side
5 check roaming profile/local profile (recreate profile if pblm profiles)
note:If a user with a roaming profile, home directory, or user object logon script logs on to a computer, Windows XP always waits for the network to be initialized before logging the user on.
