In the elevated (run as administrator) command prompt type
C:\>w32tm /stripchart /computer:si.pool.ntp.org /samples:5 /dataonly
for checking difference between server and external time source(collecting 5 samples)
then use external NTP time source for sync
C:\>w32tm /config /manualpeerlist:si.pool.ntp.org,0×8, /syncfromflags:manual /update
and force sync immediately
Note:-For XP client machines set up the automatic synchronization
Right click on the clock in the System Tray and select “Adjust Date/Time
On the Internet Time tab, type external NTP time server and click on Update Now

PingInfoView is a small utility from Nirsoft(http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/multiple_ping_tool.html) that allows you to easily ping multiple host names and IP addresses, and watch the result in one table. It automatically ping to all hosts every number of seconds that you specify, and displays the number of succeed and failed pings, as well as the average ping time. You can also save the ping result into text/html/xml file, or copy it to the clipboard.
